It's been a while...

I know it's been such a long time since I have posted anything. We are all doing great. Chloe is 6 months old already! The week before the 6th month mark she started rocking back and forth on all fours! She now scoots/army crawls and rolls all over the place. She is so curious about everything and such a wonderfully happy baby. Sadie is doing great also just getting through the 2's and keeping us all very entertained, she is our comedian. I included some pictures of her doing her latest trick on the swing set. She is so brave for 2! Anna is still smart and sophisticated, she will finish her 1st grade year in a week. She is so excited for summer! We all are, but this is always the most painful time of year for me as I wish I was a teacher so I could spend the summer with the girls... Here are a few pictures of the girls just being cute! I am also including a picture of our new baby birds who have built a nest on our front door light fixture. They built this nest literally overnight and the girls have really enjoyed peeking out the window every evening to watch the mommy bird feed them, etc. Thankfully we don't use the front door too often.

I know it's been a long time as usual. We've been a little busy at the Sheptock household. We are all doing very well and enjoying each other very much. I wanted to post a few pictures of the girls. They are all so beautiful and growing up too fast!

So we'll start with Chloe Raine who is now 3 months old! Daddy did not get his boy but he did get a red head. Chloe is growing up so fast and is soooo much longer than the other 2 girls.. maybe she'll be tall like daddy. She is smiling all the time now and has almost laughed out loud a few times..

Now here is Sadie who is Miss Independent. She just turned 2 but talks and acts more like she is 3. Her and Anna are best friends and despite the age difference love playing together. The picture of her and the 2 boys is her 2 friends at school, her teacher tells me she'd rather hang with the boys than the girls. She loves Mrs. Martha and is doing very well at school. If I don't answer her when she calls my name she says "mommy look at me" and the other day Jon asked her for a kiss and she said "no" so he asked again and she said "I said no"...She has spent a few minutes in timeout, but quickly gets over things and moves onto the next adventure. Everything at her birthday party was Yo Gabba Gabba which is her favorite TV show, and yes my mom, Jon, Anna and I homemade everything. Mom made the cake and Jon, Anna and I handled the decor. It was actually really fun even though we stayed up til 2am!

And lastly I must post a few of our first born, Anna who is doing very well. Jon and I could not be more proud of her. She is doing so well in school. She is quite the reader and loves to do math, addition and subtraction. She has such a tender heart and every morning on the way to school prays for everyone to know Jesus. She also prays for anyone she sees in need. She loves her teacher Mrs. D & all her classmates.

I wanted to post a few pictures of the girls in costume on Friday night. Sadie was very appropriately a clown and Anna was Daphne from Scooby Doo. They are very blessed with a Nina & Pappy who threw a huge party for all the kids which included moonwalks, hay rides, face painting, games, LOTS of candy & food and even goldfish for everyone to take home..and I'm not talking about the crackers.. Enjoy and check back at the end of the week for pictures of our new baby girl who is scheduled to arrive Thursday morning..

We've been having a very busy, fun summer. It has been SOOOO HOT though. I am so ready for the fall. Today we had some weather from a tropical storm so it has finally rained and the temperature dropped to about 75, it's so nice. Everyday in July I think it was 98-103! We've spent lots of time swimming in Nina and Pappy's new pool. The girls really miss playing outside but it's just been to hot. Sadie is getting so big and talking so much lately. Her newest phrase is "Help Me!" when she wants get something out of reach of get out of her crib. Her and Anna have spent so much playtime together this summer and I know she is going to miss Anna so much when school starts. Anna's new thing this summer has been spending the night with Nina and Pappy and with Lelli at Kimberly's new house in The Woodlands. She wants to spend the night with anyone who will let her! She's growing up so fast. Anyway it's been a while so I wanted to share some pictures of Father's Day and July 4...

Just wanted everyone to know we found out we are having a...GIRL!! We're all very excited but Anna was quite frank with the doctor and told him she was hoping for a boy to name him Samson.. The doctor told her God's plan was for her to have another sister. Just wanted to post a quick announcement, I'll hopefully get some new pictures up this weekend. Our scheduled c section date is November 7.

Kindergarten Graduation & New Glasses for Anna!!!

We are so proud of Anna! She graduated Kindergarten from Alpha Omega Academy. She had such a wonderful year partly because of the fact that God sent us the most amazing teacher, Mrs. Smith and partly because Anna LOVES school. At the end of the year they asked her her favorite thing about school and while most kids said art or recess, Anna told them everything! She has learned so much, she can read small books and is also adding, subtracting, and doing word problems. Here are a few pictures of the big day. Sadie was sick so she didn't get to join us for the ceremony:( Anna also now wears glasses. I think she looks so beautiful in them. At first she cried because she really didn't want to wear them but now she thinks they are quite the fashion statement!

We had an awesome time in TN. We didn't relax much but really were too excited to do that anyway. Jon sang on Saturday night, a solo, Because He Lives and received a standing ovation well before the song was over. On Sunday night he sang again with the entire Gaither group on stage and then stood and did the last solo of the night, Blessed Assurance, of course another standing ovation. We appreciate all of your thoughts and we are thankful for the prayers, we needed them, I won't bore you with the details..But our God is always victorious if we give Him the reigns! Jon's table was mobbed with people and he sold MANY cd's and dvd's. I would say the best part was meeting people from all over, Sweden, Brazil and numerous other states and hearing there stories and being blessed because of the evidence of God working in all of our lives. Jon loved being a part of it all and all the artist were so nice, I can't even explain how welcome we felt, and they all encouraged Jon continually throughout the whole thing. Anna became a little star herself, she loved the music and has made a new friend, Sonya Isaacs, lead singer and mandolin player for The Isaacs, they are awesome, check them out... www.theisaacs.com She also became quite friendly with the boys from Signature Sound and was star struck when the leader, Ernie kissed her cheek:) They gave her a tshirt and she has worn it every chance she gets! She put away the Jon Sheptock tshirt.:) Sadie had a fun time also and her favorite part was riding rides at a mini carnival we went to twice. The girls were both great and we put them through some very late nights and no naps! We are so thankful for all of the friends and family who came and helped. We wouldn't have been able to make it through without them. Another wonderful thing is Jon's mom was able to come. We were so happy to see her and Jon had a very special time with her. It's been a LONG Time

Time has flow by.. So much has been going on with ALL of us. The girls have been busy growing up. Anna has been very busy playing soccer w/her daddy as her coach and Sadie has just been growing teeth and more personality everyday. She copies everything her big sister does and they are both simply amazing little girls. Jon's music career is taking off and we've been through lots of changes with everything going on. It's all very exciting and our main focus is to keep God first in all of our decisions. I have SEVERAL pics to post and I'll start with Anna's birthday party. She's 6 now! I can't believe it. She invited her kindergarten class and a few others. It was a Tinker Bell party, we had lots of fun. Most of you already know but those who don't, we're having another baby!! Jon didn't really believe it until I went to the doctor:) We're all very excited and feel very blessed God is giving us another child.

Pictures of the Concert!

Just wanted to post a few pictures of Jon singing at the Bill Gaither concert on Saturday. It was awesome! Bill originally asked him to sing a chorus and verse..after the first chorus and verse everyone was standing and clapping so Bill asked Jon to sing another chorus. I can't explain how exciting it was, we are so proud of him. He did an awesome job. At the end soooo many ppl approached us and wanted a cd, etc. Also, Bill Gaither actually thanked Jon for sharing his gift of music and told him he would be in touch and wanted to do a video with him, etc. Everyone please continue to keep us in your prayers as God opens doors!

I have no time to post pictures but we have some amazing news!! Jon is singing Saturday at the Bill Gaither Concert at the Ft. Worth Convention Center in Dallas, TX!!! We got the news today. GOD IS SO AWESOME..and we still can't believe it. Please pray for all of us, especially Jon. He'll probably sing one song. I'll post more as soon as I can. There will be approximately 16,000 people there! Love you all and thanks for all of your prayers and support!

Turning 1!!!

As some of you might know our Sadie turned 1 on January 19th. Today we had a big bash to celebrate her! We had a wonderful time with friends and family and can't believe she's growing up so fast!

Sadie and all the other kids at the party had a wonderful time playing in her cousin Shelbee's mini moonwalk, Thanks Shelbee!

Much to our surprise Sadie loved opening her presents and Anna was a little disappointed because she did not need much help. Of course the biggest bag was from Nina and Pappy!

I'm Goin' In!

I had to post a picture of this adorable bench/stool from Shellee and Shelbee and Shellee made this! She is so talented. Jon is trying to talk her into opening an ebay store :)

We learned last Saturday Sadie is not a fan of cupcakes, but get out of the way when ice cream is on her plate! We also have noticed she is Miss Independent(an inherited trait from mommy)

Proud Parents of an Outstanding Student!

We are so proud of Anna and had to brag a little. She was chosen "Outstanding Student" by her teacher for this 9 week period and won an award in front of her elementary classmates this past Friday. She is doing so great in Kindergarten at Alpha Omega Academy and we are so blessed God gave us such amazing girls!!

I can't post w/out including a picture of Sadie too .. who blew her first kiss tonight when saying goodbye to Lelli..
